Benefits of Raw Honey

Good Source oF Antioxidants

Antioxidants help to protect our body from cell damage due to free radicals, which contribute to the aging process. Natural honey contains a range of compounds that act as antioxidants, including flavanoids, phytochemicals and ascorbic acid.


Honey naturally contains hydrogen peroxide, which is an antiseptic. Research has shown that raw honey can kill unwanted bacteria.


A spoonful of honey has been a remedy for a sore throat or cough for generations. Stir a spoonful into a mug of hot tea with some fresh lemon, or swallow a few teaspoonfuls, straight.
